36 Approved insurers
(1) An insurer that was an approved insurer under the previous Act immediately before the commencement of the amendment Act is taken to be an approved insurer under the current Act.(2) However, the insurer stops being an approved insurer 6 months after the commencement of the amendment Act unless the insurer, before the end of the 6 months, is approved under section 16A (Approved insurers) other than because of the operation of this section.
