 WHILE THERE IS AGREEMENT ABOUT THE

STRATEGY AND THE DESIRED OUTCOMES THERE IS NOT

AGREEMENT ABOUT THE DETAILED PROCESSES. THE

LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORKS WHICH THE NON LABOR

STATES HAVE PUT IN PLACE ARE AIMED AT REMOVING

FROM WORKERS THEIR AWARD SAFETY NETS AND THE

PROTECTION OF TRADES UNIONS.

THE COMMONWEALTH'S INDUSTRIAL

RELATIONS REFORM ACT (AND THE QUEENSLAND _

LEGISLATION) RECOGNISES THAT IF WORKERS ARE TO

HAVE CONFIDENCE IN ENTERPRISE BARGAINING

PROCESSES THEY NEED THE ASSURANCE THAT THE
