THE VETERINARY SURGEONS BOARD OF THE A.C.T.

2. Terms of Reference

To administer the Veterinary Surgeons Registration Act 1965 and:

• registration of suitably qualified veterinary surgeons to enable them to practice in the

A.C.T.;

• discipline of practitioners, through reprimand, suspensions/cancellation of registration

after due inquiry on specified grounds;

• consideration of complaints against registered practitioners; and

• general oversight of the conduct of the profession in the A.C.T
