Agencies

In the colice and justice subject area, primary responsibility for policy development and administrative coordination rests with the Administrative Law and Justice Branch of the Government Law Of=ice. Other agencies with specific responsibilities are:

Australian Federal Police (ACT Command);

Community Programs Branch, Bureau of Housing and Community Services (re active and remand services);

Director of Public Prosecutions (from July, when ACT component of function transfers).

In the sort and recreation subject area, the primary policy and operational responsibility rests with the Office of Snort, Recreation and Racing within the Bureau of Housing and Community Services. Other relevant agencies are:

Administrative Law and Justice Branch (re some racing matters);

Bruce Stadium Trust (following handover of function).
