Public housing
(Question No 16)
Mr Stefaniak asked the Minister for Urban Services, upon notice:
In relation to Public Housing:
- What is the make-up of housing stock in:
- North Canberra;
- Belconnen;
- Weston;
- Woden;
- Tuggeranong;
- Oaks Estate; and
- Gungahlin
(2) What is the make-up of housing stock for the following types of accommodation:
- bedsits;
- 1 bedroom flats;
- 2 bedroom flats;
- 3 bedroom flats;
- 2 bedroom houses;
- 3 bedroom houses;
- 4 bedroom houses;
- 5 bedroom houses;
- 6 + bedroom houses;
- aged persons units with (i) 1, (ii) 1.5 and (iii) 2 bedrooms; and
- townhouses with (i)1, (ii) 2 and (iii) 3 bedrooms.
(3) For each category in each region, what is (a) the number of people on the waiting list and (b) what is the expected waiting time for allocation from the non-priority waiting list.
