(1) English as a Second Language Project: The Department is co-operating with Acer Australia Limited in the investigation of the economic viability of a proposal to develop multimedia courseware for English language tuition. Public servants represent the Department on a steering committee which oversights the investigation.

(2) Dr Banks and Mr Mason represent the Department only.

(3) No public servant associated with the project.
