MS FOLLETT - The answer to the members question is as follows:
(1) The Holiday Planner is a booklet which is produced to promote Canberra
as an exciting and interesting tourist destination and to encourage and
assist potential tourists to spend their holiday in Canberra. It is
distributed to all Travel Agents Australia wide through Templar
Marketing and to information centres, coach companies, NRMA offices,
RACV offices, schools, seniors clubs as well as many other groups and
clubs. The Planner is targeted at anyone who may visit Canberra. It is
also available on request from the Visitor Information Centre to tourists
visiting Canberra.
(2) The Holiday Planner has existed for many years, and has been called a variety of names. It is one of the main marketing publications produced by the ACT Tourism Commission as a promotional device for use outside the ACT.
