Teachers - Professional Development

MR CORNWELL - asked the Minister for Education and Training on notice on 17 August 1993:

In relation to the Ministers reply to question on notice No. 8 on 12 May 1992, can the Minister now advise how much money was allocated for professional development of teachers in the 199192 Budget.

MR WOOD - the answer to Mr Cornwells question is:

In 1991-92 the Department of Education and Training expended $2,786,861 on the professional development of teachers.
