2. Terms of. Reference
The Council may take such action as it deems necessary to prevent the outbreak or spread of ire and to protect from life and property in any part of the Territory, other than any part which is a- built-up. area, and may, in particular, acquire fire-fighting . equipment, employ workmen; organise fire prevention associations and distribute literature relating to fire prevention (s.5H(1)).
3. Term and Power of .Appointment . .
Members and Deputies appointed bight Minister Each member shall be appointed for a term of three years and shall be eligible for reappointment (s.5D).
