Housing Trust - Annual Reports

Mrs Grassby - asked the Minister for Housing and Community Services:

(1) Why was the 1989/90 Annual Report of the ACT Housing Trust not released

by the first day of sitting for. 1991.

(2) Will you ensure that -future Housing Trust Annual Reports will be released during the Autumn sitting period of the ACT Legislative Assembly immediately following the financial year which the Annual Report covers.

Mr Collaery - the answer to the Members question is as follows:

(1) The Department of Justice and Community Services 1989/90 Annual Report

was tabled in the Assembly on 12 December 1990. This Report incorporates the

Annual Report of the ACT Housing Trust. The timing for the tabling of this

Report is in line with guidelines set down by the Chief Ministers Department.

(2) Yes.
